Litaflex SM 30 + AF

The Rex fire protection systems are certified conform to German DIN 4102 and European standard EN 1366-4.

Litaflex SM 30 + AF is elastic and levels unevennesses 

Fire resistance: F 90-A und F 120-A in walls and ceilings 

European Classification according to EN 13501-1:

For joints in walls:  EI 90-V-X-W 10 to 200 and EI 120-V-X-W 10 to 200

For joints in ceilings: EI 120-H-X-F-W 10 to 200

Rex joint filling systems are non-combustible joint filling materials and fire protection seals acc. to DIN 4102-A1 resp. EN 13501-1. They are used in expansion and movement joints in all areas of civil engineering, tunnel and industrial construction. Depending on design they prevent temperature rise above permitted levels for 90 to 120 minutes as well as passage of fire and combustible gases.

Additional sealing against dirt, water and destruction are allowed an do not effect the fire resistance.  

Easy installation without complex and time cosuming auxiliary materials.

  • Suitable for joint widths from 10 to 200 mm
  • For movement and/or expansion joints during fire, temperature and movement
  • Closing of joint in connection with elastic sealant or joint tape possible
  • For joints with mechanical load capacity in conjunction with expansion profiles
  • Suitable for connections as follow:  -
    ceiling / ceiling - ceiling / wall
    - wall / wall
    - wall / support
    - ceiling / support construction

     

    Combustible joint filling in the joint space without litaflex do not have to be removed. They have to be removed only in the area needed for the mounting of the folding element resp. joint block.

    Additional sealing for protection against water, dirt or mechanical damage are allowed and do not affect the fire resistance of the component.

  • classified as incombustible "A1" according to DIN 4102 Part 1 resp. EN 13501-1
  • tested and classified up to 1050 °C (F120)
  • highly elastic and dimensionally stable also at wide joints
  • easily and fast mounted as stripes or blocks
  • Tolerances in the joints based on irregular formed building elements can easily be compensated
  • Toxicologic harmless.
  • Classified without permanent flexible sealings
  • Additional permanent flexible sealings do not affect resistance in case of fire
  • The stripe or the block has to be thicker/wider than the joint
  • The installation has to be done piece by piece and edge to edge 
  • The elements have to be glued together at the front side with incombustibel litaflex-glue 800
  • Keep the joint flanks free of litaflex-glue for primer or additional elastic sealing. (Otherwise adhesion can not be granted and may break off)
  • horizontal  joints have to be protected against inflow of water
