Reliable, safe, approved: Litaflex joint blocks and elements

Fire protection is crucial for the safety of buildings and people. Larger joints and joints with high requirements, e.g., in terms of movement, pose immense challenges: They not only have to compensate for structural tolerances, but also withstand extreme loads caused by earthquakes or sudden forces. But how can you ensure that joints remain reliably fireproof even under these conditions?

The solution: Litaflex joint blocks & elements. Developed for fire protection joints with a wide range of requirements, Litaflex products offer maximum safety – even with exceptionally strong movements. Thanks to their high elasticity, they easily compensate for unevenness and reliably prevent the spread of fire and smoke.

Product variants at a glance

Litaflex SM 30 + AF joint block:

Ideally suited for wall and ceiling joints with high fire protection requirements in solid construction. Thanks to its elasticity, the product adapts flexibly and provides reliable protection against fire, smoke, and gases—even with dynamic movements. Typical areas of application are building construction and industrial construction.

Litaflex-Vario joint element:

Developed for particularly large structural movements in solid construction. This element is used in classified expansion and movement joints that must withstand exceptional loads. Typical areas of application are building construction or buildings in mining areas. Even with strong movements, the fire protection properties are retained.

Litaflex-Vario XL joint element:

A special variant for joints with extreme movements and loads in solid construction. It was specifically developed to permanently absorb even exceptional expansions without losing its fire protection effect. Typical areas of application are high-rise buildings and structures in mining or earthquake areas. This makes it the safe solution for structures with the highest requirements in terms of movement and safety.
