Successful fire tests conducted

Our colleagues from fire protection engineering recently conducted successful fire tests at the Material and Research Testing Institute Leipzig.

✔ The Rex fire protection joint filling Rexpandit was exposed to flames for over 2 hours. The classification EI 120 was achieved. During this test, a 20 mm wide joint expanded by 100%! In the ceiling area, there was also a 100% expansion and an additional shear movement of 25 mm.

✔ This provides our customers with a fire protection solution for movement joints that can be installed quickly and safely, complying with regulations. No additional tools or adhesives are required for installation.
