Insulating sleeves or mattresses are removable multi-component insulating mouldings made of technical fabrics with incorporated insulating material. Here, the individual layers are sized with appropriate cutting tools and then sewn together.
According to individual technical requirements, insulating fabrics with or without coating are used. The insulation thicknesses depend on the structural requirements as well as the required capacity for insulation. Cutouts are possible at any point of the insulation.
The fasteners used are hooks, swivel carabiners, snaps, quick-release fasteners or Velcro straps. The insulation also serves as protection against contact and flying sparks. Suitable also for complicated shapes in small quantities.
