Rexalit
Fire-resistant insulation material for safe cable and pipe penetrations
FREQUENTLY USED FOR:
Pipeline insulation
Heating construction

Rexalit is a high-quality, non-combustible fire-resistant insulation material designed for the professional sealing of conduit penetrations through walls and ceilings. This flexible material, made of biosoluble silicate fibers with an aluminum laminate, reliably prevents the spread of fire and smoke between fire compartments. Thanks to its high temperature resistance and ease of installation, Rexalit is ideally suited for applications in accordance with the German Guidelines for Service Line Installations (MLAR/LAR). It enables cost-effective, safe, and code-compliant solutions in both new construction and renovation projects.

Your Benefits with Rexalit

  • Non-combustible (Building Material Class A1 according to DIN 4102)
  • Melting point ≥ 1,000 °C for maximum fire safety
  • Effectively prevents the spread of fire and smoke
  • Flexible, easily moldable, and quick to install
  • Universally applicable for many pipe diameters
  • Harmless to health (biodegradable fibers)
  • Cost-effective inventory management thanks to roll stock

Rexalit is used for cable penetrations through:

  • Solid walls and lightweight partition walls
  • Ceilings (F30 to F90)
  • Installation shafts and ducts
  • Wood, hybrid, and solid-core construction

For:

  • Non-combustible piping up to Ø 160 mm
  • Combustible piping up to Ø 32 mm
  • Individual electrical conduits and cable bundles
  • Ventilation ducts (e.g., spiral ducts)

in heating systems, plumbing, and building services engineering.

Rexalit is used in particular within the framework of the MLAR exemptions for single and multiple penetrations in, among other places, building construction, office, hotel, and administrative buildings, nursing homes, hospitals, and industrial buildings.
