Isofilz panels are made of artificially-made calcium magnesium silicate fibres and, due to their physical properties, are suitable for high-temperature applications (up to 1100°C). The high-temperature fibre used features excellent biosolubility.

Isofilz panels (1250 x 1000 mm standard size) are available in thicknesses of 6, 9, 12 and 18 mm and can also be supplied on request as cut-to-size panels according to drawings.
The application and deployment possibilities are very versatile. The focus is on insulation, fire protection and sealing. Examples are: furnace and combustion chamber linings, sheaths and jackets, covers for welding and annealing operations, sealing of doors, insulation of containers, equipment, etc.
Isofilz contains organic binders. When exposed to heat, the felt turns brown at approx. 300 degrees Celsius . As temperatures continue to rise, the material turns white again. In the process, the binders evaporate. The mechanical load capacity decreases during this process. The insulating effect, however, is retained.
