Intumescent for fire and heat protection
Flaton-flex EN is the latest product in our intumescent range. It is a highly flexible, intumescent material based on exfoliated graphite that foams with high pressure under the influence of heat. In the event of fire, a pressure-resistant, stable foam is formed.
Unlike our “Flaton-flex A”, “Flaton-flex EN” is manufactured without a glass fabric backing.
The product variant “Flaton-flex EN” has been approved by the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik, Berlin, by way of approval amendment and supplement under approval no. Z-19.11-1713.

Fire-resistant protection in joints, gaps and other openings in components and special components. Fields of application: doors and gates, flaps/dampers, cabinet and partition walls, safety, data and control cabinets, cable passages, ventilation flaps, pipe sealing systems and other shut-off devices.

Standard thickness: 2.0 mm. However, 1.5 mm is also possible.
Sheet goods 2000 x 1000 mm.
Roll goods in various widths and 15 metres in length.
Cuts according to drawings.
Self-adhesive possible for cuts up to 2 metres in length.
Self-adhesive finishing is not possible for roll goods.
