The joint system is glued into the joint on both sides. In case of joint widening, the element opens in the middle. In the event of fire, this opening is then filled with the foaming fire protection board Flaton VPG 12.

Product as a system
The joint filling system consists of a sealing element “Litaflex Vario Element” and Litaflex Adhesive 800. The “Litaflex Vario Element” consists of one or more mineral foam panels of the type “Litaflex SM 30”. Two strips of the insulation layer-forming building material “Flaton VPG 12 fire protection board” are inserted between the two layers of foam boards.
